Fear of failure? Fear of success? Perhaps they are closer in proximity than we think.
This happened often with the clients I worked with…..they would work their asses off studying in order to get off welfare and then quit just when they were almost finished. I think often it was the fear of independence….. and the unknown entity of what success feels like
