Simply Kind Tuesdays : Week 3 – Compassion.

This is a little more than 20 minutes, but well worth your time.

I could add more words, but she says what I cannot.

“Do unto other what you would have done to you.”

Wow. Thank you for starting this project. I know I’m only on week #2, but I’m really enjoying it and I hope it snowballs into something huge with tons of participants!

    Wow.

Now imagine a world were everyone lives by that simple credo.

It gives me chills to think about it.

Topsurf – I thought this was particularly amazing! Glad you did too!

Perpstu – Thanks for participating. I hope we get a lot of people involved as well. We will be the change the world needs.

Kat – Oh me too! How delicious it would be if the world lived by this credo.

I’ve saved the link to listen as I work this afternoon, but I’ve Karen Armstrong’s books and find her message compelling always. Thanks for sharing! I don’t check Ted Talks as often as I could, but I enjoy the links you’ve shared before … turned a few into posts on my blogs to keep the message going, so I may do that with this one as well … just because ;–)
    Hugs and blessings,

Wow, I listened to the entire thing. I’ve always tried to treat others the way I want to be treated, but loving your enemies– well that’s a lot harder to do.

All I can say, thank you for sharing! I love the quote “I believe we need to move from toleration to appreciation…” How powerful! Just this what a wonderful world this could be….Thanks for the inspiration..
