Sigh.

Rhymes with Orange

Now that I have medication for my asthma, I decided that it was time for me to learn how to run. After all, everyone runs. Except me.

Inspired by my buddy Furious Ball’s running efforts, Rose and I went out yesterday. We ran one block, walked the next, giggled along one block, waddled along the other…. You get the point.

As a writer, I need to incorporate more movement in my life.

Rhymes with Orange

All right, I confess. I finished another book. Like always, I have the post book blues accompanied by the “Oh my God, when did I clean the house last??” Par for the course.

Now, I’m “running”. At least one block at a time….

Rhymes with Orange

I don’t intend to lose my hotness gracefully. I intend to fight it every step along the way.

P.S. The comics are a creation of the amazing Hilary Price at Rhymes with Orange.

P.P.S. It’s not my birthday. That’s in February.

P.P.P.S. No sister of mine would say this to me. Poor Hilary.

I’ve been trying to be more active, too. It’s not easy. Just doing yard work has my shoulders aching. But it’s worth it to be out and wrestling around with Brae. He’s a tough little four-year-old. He inspires me.

I bike instead of run, and it’s been GRRReat for my asthma.

Sorry about the Tony the Tiger thing there. I couldn’t help myself.

Congrats on running! that is awesome.

I am not, nor have ever been a runner. Give me an aerobics class, a yoga class…anything like that, I can do. Run..not so much.

Exercise helped me overcome the blues and the blahs. I really, really, really miss bicycling.

HRH – Better get in that shower! ;)

Christy – Brae inspires everyone! :)

Susan Helene Gottfried – Good for you for finding something that works!

Tommie – I love yoga too! Aerobics? When the women start screaming? I have to leave! ;)

BroLo – I bet you miss biking. It’s hard to get exercise when you’re traveling so much.

I never think about my hotness quotient, but leave that to others who tend to be kinder.

FuriousBall – We are inspired by you and Yogi!

    Jameil – That’s probably wise.

Heart in SF – lol! I bet Flip finds you hot hot hot! :)

    hahaha

Good luck with the running! I LOVE it. Can’t do too much of the outdoor kind because I have horrible terrible knees now… but the eliptical is just as cool.

    right… RIGHT?!

those comics are so funny and cute!

We should create a support group for this. Fighting the loss of hotness one step at a time.

what happened to my comment?! You can’t ignore them! hehe

It was witty, and heartfelt… with ideas for a support group! Including a slogan!

Fighting the loss of hotness one step at a time.

That’s good stuff Claudia… why did your site eat it?!

You would have laughed. You would have cried. You would have…

    ignored and deleted it, apparently.
