He delivers the bees in exchange for some honey. So, they ship via USPS. I'll post a picture when they come - it's a 2 inch long box with a screen on one side. She ships with 4-5 "helper" bees. There is a sugar plug at one end to feed them and to allow them to get out when they enter the hive. When they arrive, I give them a little water as they are hot and thirsty.
